From growing a seedling to establishing a plant in the ground, our land deserves the best.
PlantSure focuses on selecting quality plants, applying best practice and caring about the environment we work in. Working across Tairāwhiti, we combine local knowledge with practical experience, to ensure the right plants thrive on the land where they are planted.

PlantSure is owned and operated by Lana & Nigel Hope.
Based in Tairawhiti for over 30 years, having successfully grown NZ native plants (former owners of Native Garden Nursery) and established revegetation plantings working with local crews, adopting a hands-on and out-in-the-field approach.
We are now fully focused on managing planting projects.
PlantSure works alongside landowners, trusts, and organisations to develop site-specific planting strategies grounded in local knowledge, practical experience and proven project management.
Our approach prioritises plant performance, land suitability, and long-term establishment.
Having grown NZ native plant species for over 30 years, supplying plants to small- and large-scale projects and running our own planting crew, we understand the local climate, soil variability, wind exposure and land use history unique to the East Coast. This regional knowledge allows us to select native species suited not only to biodiversity outcomes, but to the realities of the site.
Our experience spans site preparation, plant procurement, contract coordination and long-term project oversight,
prioritising clarity and communication and at every stage. -
